Tomorrow I face a Very Unpleasant Birthday. So unpleasant that I am not going to reveal it but you can draw your own conclusions. I share it with Sting and Anna Ford but both are considerably older than me and also substantially more successful. So far..........
I am in so much denial about this imminent number that I have not actually yet arranged to do anything in the evening despite entreaties from various friends . Instead, I am taking my 87-year old dad out for a slap-up lunch in Manchester . Am in need of advice on things to do for the next 40 years......apart from Saga holidays.
