MILIBAND KEEPS HIS EYES SHUT

So there you have it. David Miliband on World At One assuring us that Gordon is the right man for the job and we must all pull together. I hope he remembers that one in 2010 or whenever the next General Election occurs because his majority is quite likely to disappear in the groundswell of defeat which will engulf many of the New Labour establishment . Listening to Ministers this morning ( when officially supposed to be marking essays) it's clear that they are still in denial, don't "get it" and that the only strategy the Left can adopt is to come out fighting, all guns blazing and tell them we are SICK and TIRED of New Labour 's death-wish on this Party. John McDonnell was also on the programme and it looks as though The Mail On Sunday may have gone over the top in its claims that he was to mount a leadership challenge.But I have no doubt that the common consensus now on the Left that it's time to go on the offensive. Gordon's had his chance and he's blown it.
