TAKING IT TO THE STREETS

This Election has become surreal. One seemingly governed by the ability of Nick Clegg to turn star TV performer and come from rank outsider to suddenly be "bigger than Churchill." If you believe the headlines. I don't.
I think this election, like all the others, will be fought on the streets and door by door. Vote by vote.
Which is why interventions like the one by Billy Bragg in Barking and Dagenham against the odious Richard Barnbrook ( see link below) are so important. And why as many of us as possible need to get out there campaigning . I wish I could. But, like the planes where I am at my sister's house near Manchester Airport, I am effectively grounded for most of the time.But good on you, Billy.
