I have finally got my Visitor Application form for Labour Party Conference. It took two days, several phone calls, and persistent badgering of National HQ. They said they could not e-mail me a form so I asked to be put through to the Compliance Unit ( they handle LP Conference ). They also said they did not have form but I insisted that they must have. Reluctantly (very) someone e-mailed me a PDF so if anyone out there has similar problems I suggest you do the same.
The Conference Services Unit is permanently on voice-mail and you cannot download the forms, as you used to be able to do, from the Labour Party website. As i pointed out to the various bureaucrats, many people don't have computers and even those that do might find the process of cropping pictures just a little daunting. Effectively, anyone without a computer has had it as far as getting a pass goes but I suppose the bigwigs at the top don't really care that ordinary people might find it difficult as long as their corporate pals are signed up. I suggest people write and complain.If anyone wnats a form, they can e-mail me @ SsPre2@aol.com and I will forward it.
