I have veered in the past week between thinking that Nick Griffin's atrocious appearance on Question Time was inexcusable and then, immediately after watching it, believing maybe it might have shown him for what he is. And therefore not such a bad thing after all.
News that the BNP has , allegedly, recruited thousands as a result, was a sobering reminder that "no platform for fascists" might have been the right line after all. I honestly don't know. But the piece below in the Morning Star on-line is a timely reminder of what he really stands for. And how intolerable it is.

The problem is converting the people who think he's the one standard bearer for the truth. To me the response to his QT appearance has shown how far the, i suppose 'liberal elite' are removed from those people who support Griffin
