Sad to hear just now of the death of David Taylor MP, who represented North West Leicestershire. I interviewed him a couple of years ago and he was a decent old school Labour MP, Campaign Group member, who championed his constituency with conviction. He died while out on a Boxing Day walk with his family.

Sad for his family over the Christmas period, he also lost his son not to long ago.
He was standing down at the next election because of the heavy work load. pity we can ill afford to lose Labour MP's (real labour)
